The Day After Labor Day

I slept the day away after being freezing for part of the morning, then super hot.  I’m officially sick.  There is nothing worse than being sick in the summer.  It just sucks.  My mom sent me off to get bottled water because she, her sister, Vandy, and my kids would meeellllltttt if they drank tap water.  I was so out of it, I went to pay for the water and the soda I was drinking because my throat was dryer than the Sahara only to discover I had no water.  Back home I went to get my wallet, then back to the store to get my drink, and her water too.

Though we had left overs from the bbq, I couldn’t stomach the idea of even reheating the food.  Pan, pan.  Pizza, pizza.  It would be for TTT and their Oma.  The urge to go back to sleep was big, but I had to power through.  Tonight was the first night of school.  Welcome to second grade!

We got through dinner, bath time, then it was time for school.  I couldn’t get through a whole devotional time, so Jory and I said our prayers together before we started.  Nice to ask for patience and wisdom before school starts.

We were blessed and everything just fell into place.  We kicked school off with a bang!  Sweeet!

Then finally I got to go to my beloved bed and sleep.
