And the next family cruise is to.....

Bermuda.  SCORE!  This could be the best of all worlds for everyone.  I'm pretty sure we're taking Holland American sailing from Liberty, New Jersey to Bermuda.  It takes over a day to get to Bermuda.  The ship docks in Bermuda for three days.  And there are three cities in Bermuda, which gives us a day to check out each city.

During the day, my mom and I will take a tour of each city and in the afternoon, I can get the kids out of day camp and take them strolling around town or more to their liking down to the beach.  I can sit on the sand and watch them play.  My mom can come with us or she can stay on the ship and just chill.

This way everyone has fun.  The kids will be doing something structured while we're touring, like we are, and then have fun in the sand in the afternoon.  Hmm, I wonder if we can do school on the white sands of Bermuda....

My mom can have her downtime and I can have mine.  I thought she would stay on the ship, but she probably won't even though she can't swim she might be afraid I won't watch the kids close enough and they'll get swept out to sea.

But this time around we're getting a family suite because that two joint room think so didn't work last time with little kids, I can't imagine what being in those rooms with older kids would be like.

So three, maybe four years from now this cruise is happening.  I thought about taking them on the New England cruise, but I'm not going to Broadway for the first time with three munchkins next to me.  I already have to have their grandmother who is going to complain that she didn't like or get or enjoy the musical we saw.  If Wicked is playing while we're there, I just might die.  What if I saw Wicked and Jesus Christ Superstar.  That would be the death of me.  JCS and Elphaba?  Could it get any better than that?  But that's a different cruise.

Next family vacation - - Bermuda - - here we come.
