Sweet little girl

I was watching this video.  The little girl talking is now singing love songs to her Father.  Her life taken by the woman you hear talking.  Tears stream down my face as I hear the two of them.  How did it all go so wrong?  When He takes His hand off of us, the things we can do, the horror we can cause, the pain we leave in our wake.  He is such a good and gracious and loving and forgiving God.  I thank Him for the hand He keeps on me.  I am here because of His grace and mercy not through anything I have done or said.  It’s all Him.

I watch this video and I cry, but I should also rejoice.  I should rejoice because God didn’t heal that little girl’s physical body, but He healed her supernaturally.  From the moment she was absent from her body, she was with Him.  She has heard well done, my good and faithful one, well done.  She completed the job He created her to do.  And I rejoice because this isn’t the end for her mother.  She can repent her sins to Him and He is faithful and just and He will forgive her.  He can wash her whiter than snow.  So while on earth she did something so horrendous, she can be forgiven and still spend eternity with her daughter.

HE is so good!  So forgiving!  So wise!  I don’t know why that baby had to suffer the things she did during her short life.  Damn that Adam and Eve!  But I do know that God was with her for every breath she took on this earth He was with her.  And He loved His baby more than any earthly parent or stranger ever could.
