Schooling

I doubt myself some days when it comes to Jory’s schooling. I worry that he doesn’t know enough or the right stuff, that I’m not doing enough in this subject or that one. I don’t always vocalize them, but they are there. And then out of the blue, He encourages me.

“Spell tea?” I said, as I drove him to daycare.

“Tea. T-E-A. Tea. Shouldn’t that be ‘tee-a’?” Jory inquired.

My heart skipped a beat. Are we having a phonics discussion? God does not let me get in His way

of teaching Jory what he needs to know.

“That’s good baby, but in this case the ‘A’ is silent so it’s pronounced ‘tee’.”

I am so in love with my baby boy.
