So sad...

I woke up and checked my news source The Daily Mail, a British paper.  Yes, I read a British paper to find out what’s going on in America.  And sadly, I read in the article about the Colorado massacre that the missing girl we prayed about last night at VBS hadn’t contacted her family, not because she was hurt, but because she was dead.

My heart broke for her family.  Before the news, there was hope. Hope that she was still alive, but now none.  I pray that the family does have hope that like her parents and her cousin, that she was a believer and that even though the pain of her loss, I imagine, threatens to consume them whole, that they know that they will be reunited with her.  After they hear, well done my good and faithful one, well done, that she will be waiting to embrace them.

My prayers were and will be with her family.  God is good all the time.  All the time God is good.
