Making Olympians

I’ve been trying to be a good American and watch the Olympics.  I’m trying, but I kinda fell I should protest because NBC didn’t even post the opening ceremonies, which I missed the beginning of.  And you seemingly have to pretend you’re British to get a feed from the BBC because you have to jump through so many hoops in order to get a feed from NBC on your computer.  But bygones.

We watched a few things gymnastics, swimming, running, and my beloved volleyball, and you know what I’ve come away with.  I’m going out this weekend and buying the girls bikinis because seemingly the only way to play beach volleyball is in a bikini.  The only way to run in a few Olympics seemingly will be in a bikini.  Strange how the men who are bigger, stronger, and faster, can wear sleeveless shirts or tank tops and wear shorts to their knees or mid-thigh, and still win volleyball games and win in track and field.

The bikinis will be the key to the girls being successful in sports and making the Olympic team.
