At Happy's house

Earlier in the week, I stopped by Happy's house to see if I could drop the girls off on Thursday or Friday so Rowan could get her hair braided for vacation.  She said on Friday.

Friday morning, I dropped the girls off at Happy's.  Before I left, she asked, "Is it okay to use the pink and purple beads?  Or should we use white beads?"

She kept her promise to the girls.  The girls are going to be over the moon.  "Pink and purple beads.  They are dying to have them in their hair."

After my work day, I picked up the girls to discover both girls got their hair braided.  I wasn't quite expecting the baby to get her hair braided, but she did and she very happily showed off her beads to me.  Their hair looked very nice.

And not only had Happy gotten them their beads, she also got them the promised fingernail polish in purple and pink. A  box to the keep the polish in, sunglasses, a hat, and a Disney princess change purse for them to take with them on their trip.  Jory also got sunglasses and a Spiderman hat.  We happily thanked Happy and drove home.

If you squint and move in closer to the screen on my dresser is Rowan's one year picture.  Notice the lack of hair, then move back and look at her in the foreground, hair.  What a difference four years makes.

With their girls' hair done, it was like this vacation was actually happening and got kicked up to high gear.  In another life, I'm totally going to learn how to braid.
