It doesn't seem real still that in just a few days we'll be in Atlanta. This is our full week in LA, but it is. It hasn't hit me yet, even with the suitcases in the living room, all ready to go. Even with the girls' matching purple sweatshirts, that I scored on Black Friday at Target for this particular trip, and pink tank tops and flip flops sitting on the stereo ready for them to put on after they take their shower Friday night. Even with the backpacks lying underneath the clothes. But it's real and it's coming.
I pray we have a safe trip and a good time there. I still can't believe how many years it's been since I went to a family reunion. I'm glad this will be TTT's first and they'll get to see all of our relatives, even the ones I refer to as Oma's cousins, as if they aren't mine, since I don't really know them and all see them at the reunion.
